Day 6: Paint my nails blue

I'm kinda a pink girl... Because of that, I've never painted my nails blue. So, I thought "why not?"

Anyway, I was going to have to sit around at the Opera House while my brother Kurtis takes pictures and rehearses for DESOD's recital coming up. So, I had my mom stop at Walgreen's and I found some  UK sparkly blue nail polish on sale.

So I just painted my nails backstage and entertained myself while "The Cuppycake Song" played about a thousand times. And then I had fun taking random pictures... Yay!

Okay, so I'll admit: not the most exciting entry. But I love you, and I hope I'll have something a little better for you tomorrow!

Oh yeah, and PS. Victoria painted one nail. XD

Day 5: Sleep more than 12 hours at one time

So, yeah, I slept for over 12 hours this morning. I went to bed at about 1:30 and woke up at 1:57. Since I didn't actually take pictures of myself while I was sleeping (shocker), I found some good ones from when I was little. Enjoy:

Yay!... Except for the fact that I had plans with my lovely friend Elizabeth.

Well, after freaking out and then calming down, I founded out that she also slept until 2. So we both over slept.

Soooo, we ended up going to the dollar theater and saw "Just Go With It", which was actually really good! I thought it was going to be one perverted joke after another. However, it had a good storyline, funny jokes, and - perhaps the best part - Jennifer Aniston. And, it was only $1.50. Which was great.

It really did end up to be fun - and I got one of these challenges finished without trying! (:

Day 4: Bake something without tasting them

So, this may be one of my hardest ones ever. I made cookies, and didn't eat any of the dough - which is huge, because I LOVE COOKIE DOUGH!

Anyway, I had a pretty eventful summer day yesterday. We had a Y club officers meeting at the park, so my friend Macy and I decided we wanted to hang out beforehand. So, we went to the Lexington History Museum.

So, I'll admit: not my first choice. But it was fun! It proves than anything can be fun with friends. To read more about our adventures, see Macy's blog Their Heads in the Clouds.

And, I can't talk about yesterday without saying that I got to go get ice cream with one of my favoritest people in the whole world, my friend Julie! (Okay, so this pic is from several years ago, but it was of another time when we got ice cream - we like ice cream!)

Back to the cookies, I said I would bring a snack to the meeting, but - while popsicles would have been great in the heat - by the time we walked through the museum, and walked to the park, we would have had a box of mush.

So, I kinda did cheat in that I've made these cookies several times, so I knew they would be reliable. But, I still didn't eat the dough... major self control there.

Plus, I was kinda running late. Because of this, I didn't really decorate them or anything. I really like decorating sugar cookies, but I just didn't have time. So, you can look at some of my previous decorating and pretend I made them look like that (XD):

But, alas. They did not look like that - but they were pretty yummy!

Day 3: Compile 50 special quotes & Make a scrapbook page

This was a super project to do today!  It was really fun to do, and it looks pretty great - if I do say so myself.

The quotes in here are really inspiring, sarcastically true, or just funny. I have at least 50 quotes, plus pictures, stickers, and other random stuff!

And, it was totally free because all I used was an old little notebook and scrapbook paper scraps.

So yeah, it's super fun, and I hope you enjoy!

Day 2: Read my LCT yearbook

I've had this black book of opportunity sitting on my bookshelf for several weeks now. Many times I wanted to look at it and rediscover my Lexington Children's Theatre memories from the past year, but I wanted to wait to read what everybody said.

So, I decided it was time. It's been awhile since Company B has wound down, and I still have a couple weeks before I apprentice: perfect time.

I just have one word for this place: AMAZING! I counted, and "amazing" was signed at least seven times throughout my book by various people describing various situations. I love you all so much and it was so great to get to relive those memories.

Seeing the memories from Anne Frank and Me and Company B was just so fun! Both of these were unbelievably great experiences that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thanks for making them so awesome!

It has been a fantastic - no AMAZING - year, and I hope there are many more to come (or at least two - before I go away to college)!
